Double excess payable applies in the following situations:
Driving in Malaysia
If the rented vehicle is stolen or involved in an accident, collision, or damage incident while being driven in Malaysia.
Drivers below 24 years old or above 65 years old
If the Main Hirer or Authorised Driver is below 24 years old or above 65 years old.
Terms & Conditions
Driver-partner who meet the following conditions will be eligible for CDW add-on:
- Fulfill minimum rental period.
- No outstanding arrears.
- Have no accident claims in accordance with the Rental Agreement within the first week of rental.
- Driver-partner is not allowed to opt-out from the CDW add-on during the rental period until he/she terminates his/her contract with Velocity Leasing.
- This accident excess coverage applies only for the driver-partner & additional named driver listed in the Rental Agreement. Any other drivers will be subjected to the standard (without CDW) accident excess rate.
- A replacement vehicle will be provided to the driver-partner, subject to availability. The vehicle model provided will be at the sole discretion of Velocity Leasing.
- Velocity Leasing reserves the right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part of the CDW coverage and its Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Coverage of the scheme applies to the driver-partner’s original rented car and also 1 replacement vehicle. If the aforementioned replacement vehicle needs to be replaced due to another accident, the driver-partner will have to purchase a new CDW to cover the second replacement vehicle.
