For New Driver-Partners
What documents are needed for private hire rental?
To get started, make sure you meet the following requirements:
For PHV Rental & Leasing
- Singapore Citizen
- Valid PDVL/TDVL
- At least 23 years of age OR at least 30 years old at the point of PDVL/TDVL application.
- Less than 18 Drivers’ Improvement Points/Demerit Points
- Driver’s license of at least 2 year
Can I drive for personal use rental?
To get started, make sure you meet the following requirements:
For Consumer/Corporate Leasing
- Valid driving license
- At least 23 years of age
Can I rent a PHV car to drive for Grab/Gojek/TADA/Ryde/Zig?
Yes. Our cars are eligible to drive on Grab, Gojek, TADA, Ryde & Zig.
We have a wide range of models for PHV rental to drive on all ride-hailing platforms.
Am I able to drive my rented car into Malaysia?
Yes, our cars are VEP & RFID ready and you may drive the car to West Malaysia. Please be reminded to bring the vehicle log card when driving to Malaysia.
Am I able to add a relief driver?
Yes, simply let our sales representative know the details of the additional driver.
How do I schedule an appointment with Velocity Leasing?
Where is Velocity Leasing’s Office located at?
We are located at 1 Tai Seng Ave, #01-23/24 Tai Seng Exchange, Singapore 536464
Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 10:00AM – 6:00PM
Saturday, Sunday: 10:00AM – 2:00PM
We are closed on Public Holidays.
What should I bring along to my appointment with Velocity Leasing?
Kindly bring along the following:
- NRIC
- Driving License
- Valid PDVL/TDVL (if applicable)
- Deposit (payment by NETS or PayNow)
When or how do I pay my rental charges?
Rental deduction starts on the first day you collect the car. Rental charges are deducted weekly/monthly by GIRO OR paid weekly/monthly by bank transfer/PayNow.
For Existing Driver-Partners
Rental Contract/Recontract
When can I recontract?
Our dedicated relationship manager will contact you to renew your contract one month before your contract end date.
Can I recontract to a Brand New Car?
Yes, you may choose to recontract with your current car or switch to a Brand New car (subject to availability).
Can I terminate my contract before the contract end date?
You may terminate the contract at any time subject to the following condition(s):
- If you have a valid medical certification stating that you are unfit to continue driving (subject to case by case approval from Velocity Leasing’s Management)
- Any other cases of termination will result in:
- Forfeiture of deposit
- Full rental charges for the remaining period until the end of your rental contract and any incentive/completion bonus paid out during the rental period
Where can I get a copy of my logcard?
A copy of the vehicle logcard will be provided upon car collection. If it’s misplaced, please WhatsApp us at 8356 9999 for a replacement.
Accidents, Servicing and Maintenance
Who do I contact if the car breaks down?
Please contact our 24-hour accident & breakdown tow hotline at 6027 9862 for assistance. You can also find this number on the car’s windscreen decal.
Where can I do an accident reporting?
All accident cases must be reported to Velocity Leasing within 24 hours of the accident. Please whatsapp us at 8356 9999 to make an accident report.

How to book or reschedule a servicing appointment?
It is mandatory to schedule a servicing appointment when your car reaches 10,000 km or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
